In the Bible (Ephesians 2 v 19) the church is referred to as "God's household". Like any household, we have to pay our bills!

God has graciously provided each of us in the churches of the Kington Parishes with money to enable us to play our part in financing the ministry of our church - which is of course not our church but his. In order to balance its books St Mary's, Kington needs an income of at least £5000 each month from the church family.

By clicking the buttons below you can download forms which you may find helpful. The forms on this page relate only to St Mary's, Kington - for the other churches in the Kington Parishes click here.

Pledge form: It would be really helpful to us if you could fill out a pledge form to help us with our budgeting. On it you can tell us how much you plan to donate and how often we can expect your donations, as well as which method you intend to use - standing order through the bank, cheque, cash envelopes etc.  Your pledge is a statement of your current intention made in good faith, but it is not a binding promise.

Gift Aid: providing you are a UK taxpayer, by completing a Gift Aid declaration you will enable the church to claim back from the government the tax you have paid on your donation. This will not cost you anything, but to us it is worth an extra 25p in every £1 you give. Too good to miss out on!

Standing order form: it is greatly appreciated if our supporters give regularly, and the simplest way to do this is through the bank by standing order. The donor retains full control at all times. If you give by standing order, we encourage you to pick up a small card saying "I give by standing order" every time you come to a church service, which you can put in the collection plate as it passes. In this way you can not only know but also feel that you are taking part in the collection as it is taken up.

All things come from you, O God: everything we give you is yours already. Accept the gifts we offer: which we bring with thankful hearts.
