Kington is a small town of some 2-3,000 inhabitants, set in beautiful countryside in the Welsh Marches, and is noted as a centre for walking. Our four other parishes are predominantly sheep-farming communities.
Kington is situated on the A44 between Leominster and Rhayader, just where it crosses the English/Welsh border. The villages are all about 3-6 miles from Kington: Huntington to the south-west, Old Radnor to the west, Kinnerton to the north-west and Titley to the north-east on the B4355 Presteigne road.
To find us, type or paste The Kington Parishes into Google maps. You should see something like the map below. Flag A marks St Mary's Church. There is no car park as such for the church but people tend to park in the churchyard.
If using satnav, our postcode HR5 3AG will get you close enough to see the church.
The Vicarage is behind the church - go up the lane to the right of the lych gate opposite the white cottage 10 Church Road, and keep to the left at the top of the slope. The Parish House is beside the Vicarage, at the top of the slope, and there is a small car park behind it.
